The opening passage of the Dao De Ching profoundly states that the Dao which can be named or identified does not embody the eternal Dao. This foundational principle underscores the true nature of the Dao, that it is indescribable and yet inherently embedded within all aspects of existence.

To truly find its meaning we must listen. Listen to our bodies, listen to our hearts, listen to our instincts, and above all else listen to nature and the world around us. 

This is the Sound of Dao.
